assistance and expertise to minority and small businesses to
help resolve their issues and improve the business environment

and image
- To
provide and utilize a facility for business, civic, educational social
and cultural activities which enhance quality of life of the community

For
example, in 1996, the Foundation donated to the NLV Boys & Girls
Club and to the D.A.R.E. program. In 1997 it donated to Catholic
Charities /Refugee Relocation Program. In 1998, to Nevada Partners,
SafeNest, Opportunity Village, and others. In 1999, to Friends of
Kiel Ranch, located in North Las Vegas, being the second oldest
historical site in the Las Vegas Valley. With
a partial grant from Citibank Nevada, the Foundation operates an
English as a Second Language Program 4 mornings per week in NLV. Note
that the Mission and Goals above recognize that many agencies in
surrounding communities (City of Las Vegas, unincorporated Clark
County, etc.) provide charitable services within North Las Vegas, and
are deserving of Foundation financial support, as well as those located
in North Las Vegas. Foundation
funds built the present office building. All net
proceeds from tenants, including the Chamber, will support the mission
and goals above. Those interested in helping fund the Foundation should
contact Executive Director.
